Galaxy Charm Necklace
Regular price $ 98.00by Jen Lesea Designs
Louisville, CO
Jen Lesea-Ames hand-creates richly textured jewelry that involves a metalsmithing process called fusing. 18K gold is hand-filed into dust, and is carefully spread over the argentium base. Then with a little magic, a little luck, intense concentration and careful torch control, the piece is heated just before it completely melts. It's at this point that the specs of gold fuse to the base into one piece. This creates a unique look but also provides superior durability and texture to the piece. The final steps involve traditional metalsmithing techniques of drilling, polishing, and adding a patina to get the desired finish.
"It's my hope that my jewelry will connect you to your happy place, wherever you may be."
Inspired by the Milky Way seen on a clear night, this oxidized silver and 18K gold charm necklace will connect you to the magic of the stars, wherever you may be.

Wishbone Necklace in Sterling Silver
Regular price $ 565.00By: Mia Hebib
Brooklyn, NY
Oblik means “shape” in Croatian and forming shapes has been the underlying theme in Hebibs creations. She works with the desire to create the most unique, sculptural, alluring, elegant and most powerful objects in jewelry form. “Oblik Atelier” jewelry marries traditional metalsmithing to timeless designs via fold forming, fabricating, and forging techniques. These jewelry pieces were created out of the restraints during the creative process. Precious metal, single wire manipulated to create a shape.
Born in Bosnia and raised in Croatia, Mia studied at the School for Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, before moving to the United States. Mia began her professional career in New York City, with corporate design roles at Liz Claiborne, Henrii Bendel and BCBGeneration. She also consulted with the legendary American jewelry artist Robert Lee Morris, and now mentors at SCAD and PRATT Institute.
“In my perfect world, every woman that recognizes a creator of any kind inside herself would own a Oblik Atelier piece.”
